Gypsum Fibrosum Shi Gao 30g Heals eczema, burns and ulcerated sores and wounds.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 15g Invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Gan Cao, moderates spasms and relieves abdominal pain.
Rx. Angelicae Dahuricae Bai Zhi 12g Expels Dampness, alleviates discharge and treats leukorrhea and diarrhea.
With Gan Cao, for ulcer pain.
Rx. Bletillae Bai Ji 12g Reduces swelling, generates flesh, eliminates ulcers, astringes leakage of Blood and stops bleeding.
Sanguis Draconis Xue Jie 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, protects the surface of ulcers, prevents decay, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Olibanum Ru Xiang 10g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, reduces swelling and generates flesh.
Myrrh Mo Yao 10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, alleviates pain, reduces swelling, generates flesh and promotes healing.
With Ru Xiang, topically for skin lesions and ulcerations.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 10g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moderates spasms and alleviates pain.
Borneolum Bing Pian 3g Clears Heat, drains Fire, resolves toxicity and alleviates pain.

SYNDROMES

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Diarrhea with tenesmus which intensifies after defecation
  • Frequent stools which are small in quantity
  • Stools are yellow or brown, thin, watery, with foul smell or sticky and pasty like jam or sticky fluid or containing pus and blood
  • Burning hot sensation in anus
  • Abdominal pain
  • Urine short and red
  • Sustained fever despite profuse perspiration or raging fever in the afternoon or in severe cases, high fever and coma
  • Mouth dry but no desire to drink
  • Body heavy
  • Limbs tired
  • Fullness in chest
